Bang Rules
Reverse Bang Rules

This is not an all-inclusive list, it only has the ones that we have thought up or had an issue with so we made it a rule. If there is something that you think we are missing, comment below.

BANG RULES

  • The stories have to be at least 5,000 words by posting date. (That sounds too easy but we want this to be a fun little thing.)
  • DO NOT SHARE ANY PARTS OF YOUR STORY BEFORE POSTING DATE. We know this sounds restrictive but we really want the stories to be a big shock for everyone. We want to reveal a whole bunch of new stories.
  • Be nice to each other. Writers be nice to your artists. Artists be nice to your writers. If an issue pops up that makes it impossible for you guys to work together. Get in contact with us.
  • If stories are not fully done by the end of the posting period, the author will not be allowed to post to the collection. Only complete stories will be approved.
  • Stories need to be posted whole and not mitered out over the posting period in chapters.
  • If the author does not finish their story in the time allotted by the challenge, they do forfeit all right to the art created for it if the artist so desires.

Reverse Bang Rules

  • Art is not to be shared, at any stage of making with others. We want the art to be the big reveal of the Bang.
  • The stories have to be at least 3,000 words by posting date. (That sounds too easy but we want this to be a fun little thing.)
  • At the moment, artist may sign up as writers as well but please make sure that you have time to do both.
  • Be nice to each other. Writers be nice to your artists. Artists be nice to your writers. If an issue pops up that makes it impossible for you guys to work together. Get in contact with us.
  • If the art/story is not fully done by the end of the posting period, the artist/writer will not be allowed to post to the collection. Only complete art/stories will be approved.
  • Stories need to be posted whole and not mitered out over the posting period in chapters.
  • Once the art is created, it’s in the writer’s hand. There will be a list of things that the artist will make the writer know what they do not want in their story (ie warnings, heavy tropes, pairings, crossovers, and the like) but other than that, artists will not have a hand in the shaping of the story once the writer gets their idea.
  • The Mods will try their hardest to make sure that each piece of art gets at least one story attached to it. Depending on the ratio, a story might be claimed more than once if there are a lot more writers than artists. Pinch Hitters will be drafted for stories if a writer drops out and there is not another story in the works for that art.
